Desktop usage analytics

Desktop usage analytics starts automatically without sign-in. A random installation ID records app starts, periodic presence, screen categories, sign-in state, version, architecture, language and backup/restore outcomes. It does not collect hardware fingerprints, account identifiers, email, paths or save contents. Raw events expire after 30 days. In Settings → Usage analytics, you can stop collection and request deletion for this installation; offline deletion retries automatically. Re-enabling creates a new identifier.

Also records catalog games, observed running time, operation entry points (including shortcuts), duration, failure categories and edited field counts. It does not record typed keys, save field values or custom game names.

Daily website statistics without visitor or session identifiers are retained for 400 days to analyze long-term trends.

Account and Google sign-in

Email sign-in uses your email address and a verification code. If you choose Google sign-in, Google shares your account identifier, email address and basic profile information, such as your name and profile picture, with our authentication service. We use this information to create or recognize your SaveNest account and maintain your sign-in session. We do not receive your Google password or request access to Gmail messages, Drive files, contacts or calendars.

Google account information is used for sign-in and account management, not advertising or training general-purpose AI models. It is not sold. SaveNest follows the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.

Local saves and optional cloud storage

Local save files, backup history and restore information are stored on your computer. Signing in alone does not upload your saves. When you enable cloud backup or request an upload, SaveNest transfers the selected backup contents and the metadata needed to identify, verify and synchronize them. This includes game and backup identifiers, device information, timestamps, sizes and checksums. Cloud storage is associated with your account and storage allowance.

Devices, purchases and support

Account services process your device identifier, label, platform, app version and activity timestamps to manage devices and cloud access. Purchases record plan, order, currency, payment status and provider references. PayPal handles payment credentials; SaveNest does not collect your card number. Support requests contain the text and attachments you choose to send. Review any diagnostic file before sharing it, because manually supplied material may contain personal information.

Diagnostics and website storage

Optional account diagnostics and signed-in page-visit records require your opt-in in Profile & privacy. They contain limited fields such as version, outcome, error code and page category, not save contents, file paths or URL parameters, and are retained for 30 days. Public pages use Cloudflare traffic statistics. A short-lived source label can connect a public visit with a download entry or registration; it does not store a raw referrer URL or search terms. Browser storage also keeps language preferences and the session needed to sign in. Infrastructure providers process connection and security information to serve and protect requests.

Service providers and security

SaveNest uses Supabase for authentication and account data, Cloudflare for website delivery, request protection and cloud object storage, Google when you choose Google sign-in, and PayPal when you pay. These providers process the information needed for their respective functions under their own policies; processing may take place outside your country. Access controls restrict private cloud data to authorized account operations and support or administration tasks. Windows sign-in credentials are protected by Windows encryption. Website sessions are kept in browser storage, so protect access to your browser and device.

Retention and your choices

You can use local features without signing in, turn off optional diagnostics, disable cloud backup, remove cloud backups using available controls, and sign out or revoke devices. Signing out, uninstalling the app or removing Google access does not by itself delete your SaveNest account, cloud backups or local files. You can remove Google access in your Google Account connections settings. To request access, correction or deletion of account information, email guwenbo918@gmail.com; we may need to verify account ownership before acting.

Account and cloud records are retained while needed to provide the requested service. Deletion requests are handled together with applicable payment, security and record-keeping requirements; information that must be retained is limited to those purposes. Local files remain under your control. Updated data practices will be reflected on this page with a revised date.
